BEHIND THE LENS

​

Andy has been taking photographs as long as he can remember, or as long as he could reach his dad's camera. He shot his first wedding at 14, and has been shooting shooting theater and dance photography since 2006 and has photographed over 100 shows to date. Andy quickly realized that stage photography was a passion and has taken every opportunity to preserve what happens on stage with beautiful images.

 

Andy has served as photography editor of a number of publications, including the twice-weekly Wesleyan Argus newspaper (2010-2012). His work has been featured in galleries and competitions across the country.

 

When not behind the camera, Andy is a PhD candidate in developmental psychology at NYU Steinhardt studying development of math and self-regulation skills in early childhood.
